Practical Competition Shooting League (PCSL) is a streamlined alternative to other competitive shooting organizations like USPSA and IDPA. They have simplified open-source rules that allow and club to host matches without mandatory affiliation or per-shooter fees to the PCSL organization.
2-Gun competition uses only a rifle and a pistol, and only has 2 divisions (competition and practical) with few restrictions on the types of guns you can use. It’s very easy to get started and is a good introduction for people that have never tried competitive shooting before.
Our 2-Gun matches are held on the first Saturday of the month between May and October at the Capitol City Rifle & Pistol Club in Augusta Maine. We also have coaching and training matches on the third Saturday of the month which are perfect for beginners that want to learn at their own pace.
